Sensei Frank Hussy

Frank started karate training with the Japan Karate Association in Ottawa Canada in 1958. In 1965 he moved to Vancouver and continued training with the JKA under Sensei Yamashiro until graded to ShoDan in July 1982 by the late Sensei Masatoshi Nakayama head of the JKA. He received his NiDan from Sensei Toru Yamaguchi in July 1985.

Frank was fortunate that his work took him frequently to Los Angeles which provided opportunities to train with Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama and to Japan for training at the JKA Honbu dojo. A grading to SanDan by Sensei Asai followed six years later in June 1991.
